It's What's for Dinner!

Welcome to my Blog!

I'm so excited to start this blog and share two of my passions with you - Food and Cooking! I love to cook and always have. And eating?? Well, that goes without saying! As my family has grown (as well as my body), I've started to focus on making healthy meals that everyone in my family will enjoy (not so easy with a picky husband and a picky 7 year old). I also try and make meals that are fairly simple and quick to assemble. I know how busy we all are and sometimes nutritious meals fall by the wayside as we opt for a quick something we can throw together (chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, anyone?!?!)

I am currently on the Weight W@tchers Program (13.2 lbs lost since Dec 31, 2012!). While all my meals I cook won't be from this program, some will and I will denote this whenever I do. I will also give you nutritional information on meals as much as I can!

Please give me feedback on any recipes you try or if there is something you would like me to make or try and make a "classic comfort food" a little more healthy. I'll do my best! My goal is for you to be able to take away delicious and nutritious meals for your family that everyone will love - and that will easily fit into a busy mom's day!
